Radiating with pure white light, the bouquet of orange blossom absolute and Bulgarian Rose unfolds like a soft caress on the skin, awakening with the powdery elegance of musk, ambrette, and Iris Pallida butter—a signature of Guerlain’s craftsmanship. Balancing sensuality and tenderness, the musks embrace with a gentle, white-hued warmth. If this fragrance were a sculpture, it would be The Kiss by Auguste Rodin.
Inspired by Guerlain’s iconic Square Bottle from 1870 and crafted by the historic glassmakers Pochet du Courval, the L’Art & La Matière bottle is a masterpiece in itself—unisex, modern, and unmistakably refined. Proudly made in France.
Love the decants and the size. Enough to spray a couple times to get a good feel for it. Scents of mood makes it so easy to try them all before you make a big investment. Shipping was fast too. Overall extremely pleased and definitely order more in the future.
Guerlain always masterfully blends their fragrances like no other. I always appreciate their artistry. However, this has a note that is similar to the smell of “outside” when it’s windy. Not very pleasant for me, but good in whiffs on someone else. Packaging was great. Lots of bubble wrap and bottles are glass with good atomizers and aesthetic gold accents.
Musc Outreblanc by Guerlain is such a soft, skin-like scent. It’s clean, slightly powdery, and very comforting like your skin but better. It’s not loud, but it has this quiet, elegant presence that people notice up close. I’ve been reaching for it a lot lately because it feels calming and easy to wear, especially on days when I just want something gentle, beautiful and sofisticated.
I love a pure soapy musk. It’s similar to Chanel 1957, which is my signature scent. I wish the Guerlain had more staying power. Nevertheless, I plan on purchasing a full bottle.
One of my favorite fragrances from this house. It is fresh, elegant and beautiful. Perfect for the office, gym and everyday activities. Once I finish the decant, I hope to get a bottle.
