Inspired by founder Ben Gorham’s personal memories and the dynamic artistry of African culture, this reinterpretation amplifies the signature gourmand character with a luscious heart of sweet praline. Bright top notes of bergamot, lemon, and blackcurrant introduce a bold vibrancy, gradually softening into a blend of praline, soft musks, and violet. At the base, cedarwood and vetiver bring depth and sophistication, while warm black amber enhances the praline’s indulgent trail to the very last note.
Giving it 5 stars because the service was outstanding. The perfume in particular gives me Baccarat Rouge vibes, I was expecting something different 😩 I will let it sit for a bet to see how much it will change.
Beautiful scent . Close body scent but I totally get this for church or shopping. Not for a plane trip a bit too strong . I really enjoy this fragrance.
Loved that i got the opportunity to test the foankwr release of thia fragrance for an entire weekend. This really gives a person the chance to truly test a fragrance with their vody chemistry.
Omg smells so good I just don’t know if I like this that much more than the regular bal D Afrique?!? The regular bal d Afrique actually does last on me so not sure if I’m gonna spend the extra $$ on this one
Unfortunately I’ve gone nose blind to many scents. The initial spray and top notes are lovely, but I lose any scent after a few minutes. In addition, no one seems to be able to smell it on me either. My issue may be a combination of anosmia and skin pH or hormonal interference.
