I ordered the 5ml to sample this after watching a short on YouTube by Alexis from @thelipsticklesbians where she raved about it being the sexiest fragrance.
While it didn’t WOW me enough to want to buy the full size, it’s definitely different from what I normally choose. PINK PEPPER is what comes to mind. It’s peppery and that’s different from musky, floral or fresh. If I sniff enough, I can slightly detect a rosey sort of floral that’s kind of soapy.
When I want to smell like something different, i’ll repurchase the 5ml.
It did not have staying power for me though. I’m always skeptical when ordering decanted fragrance since there’s no way to be sure they are not adulterated.
I sprayed my wrist and back of my neck and within the 45 minute drive to work, the fragrance was undetectable.
Guidance, both EDP and the extrait are my favorite fragrances. Thanks to being able to access decants I can keep them in stock without having to lay out the price of full bottles. And this fragrance has excellent longevity, so a decant will last a long time.
The sealed metal spay container looks and feels nice however has no visual indicator how much product is inside. It should have a transparent part. The container also should should have a sticker or a markings with the brand and volume of the perfume indication on it.
This was love at first sniff! I have ordered a sample before and was running out. I find it addictive and just want to keep catching whiffs of myself. I have since purchased a bottle even though its very expensive. I only want perfumes in my collection that I absolutely love. I have sampled so many and this along with the OG Guidance are 2 of the 3 that are new to my collection after a big declutter.
I really wanted to love this scent because I had heard wonderful things about it. Unfortunately, I am not a fan. It is a bit cloying and reminds me of the perfumes older women wore in the 90s. The packaging and diffuser are beautiful and work very well.
