I was very excited to try this as I’ve heard people say it’s the “vanilla of all vanillas.” I am a little disappointed. Does it smell like vanilla? Yes. But there is an overwhelming spicy/medicinal/incense like smell that dominates when I smell my skin directly. It almost smells root beer like. It’s okay, just not my favorite and definitely not worth the price in my opinion.
This fragrance is BOLD! I got the smallest one because I really had to try due to all the talk. On my skin this fragrance is too powdery and strong, it’s not bad, but in my opinion smells more “interesting” than “delicious”.
Absolutely beautiful bottle delivery. Good spray. But I was made to be so built up about this vanilla. I had very high expectations. And it’s not bad. But it’s not what I want a Vanilla to be like. I want Cozy, by the fire, warm, milky vanilla. This one is too floral and sweet for me. A bit powdery too. Which I thought I would like. But not floral powdery.
I love this store. The atomizers are so beautiful. I chose gold for this fragrance. I love that I don’t have to blind buy an expensive fragrance. Delivery was fast. Will definitely be getting more!!
Honestly, I wish I didn't love this as much as I do! $700 for a 50ml bottle of this is kind of crazy, but thanks to Scents of Mood, I can get decants of this. But I am still saving up for it because I do think it is worth it. I feel so many "elevated" or "grown up" vanillas get too woody and sharp and hurt my sinuses. This stays smooth and slightly sweet, and it is absolute perfection.
Beautiful fragrance. Not as long lasting as I would have liked. I may get another decant but I can’t justify the price to add a full bottle to my collection.
My order was packed nicely which I appreciate very much. However, im very disappointed in this scent. Im a vanilla girl and i was expecting so much from this perfume. It smells like rubber with hints of vanilla and flower.
Completely addicted to V Planifolia- so grateful it’s available here…I can detect it all day every time a breeze blows -smells like spicy heaven after being inside a box of Nilla wafers.
