The smell itself is very sweet off the initial scent; the black current really comes through from the bottle. When I spray it on my skin, the sweetness softens a little and it becomes more woody and floral, but the sweetness is really the strongest quality. I find it a little overwhelming and strong, especially if sprayed on the chest or wrists, but it calms down as time goes on. Lasts awhile though!
OK, so I am not crazy. I purchased this a few weeks ago, got it at the end of April and could not wait to spray this. I smelled.... nothing. Literally NOTHING. So I tried it again, sprayed more, and... nothing. Thought maybe it was bc it was on my skin and it wasn't lasting there. But I sprayed on a strip and still NOTHING. Looking at the sample and the juice on the DVN website and Nordstrom's sample vials on their website, I notice a massive difference. The sample I got from SoM is CLEAR. The REAL DVN juice is dark yellow making the bottle DARK RED. I want a refund, this is NOT the product. You basically sent me water.
I really like this one of the 3 DVN fragrances I sampled, this one was the most appealing of them. I wore it today & the longevity was about 7 hrs and I never got sick of it which happens to me quite a lot. Will buy a larger size.

Premium atomizer. Scent is definitely an ode to silk. The softness and creaminess. The sweetness touch that balances it. There is a chestnut warmth but not Smokey almost sweet nutty with a cashmere like warmth to it. Definitely leans feminine but if you are bold or inclined towards the sweet cashmere this is luxurious. Shipping of these was impeccable and packaged with care and overall great experience.
Oh no. This is my new favorite scent. With a hefty price tag too. Smells exactly as its name suggests—luxurious, sensual, sweet silk. Packaging was great. Lots of bubble wrap and bottles are glass with good atomizers and aesthetic gold accents. Love!
This fragrance is so special! It smells like a smooth, nutty poundcake sprinkled with cocoa powder. Topped with a jammy, black currant compote. Not gourmand or foodie, but delicious. I can’t wait to purchase a full bottle. The 2ml vial arrived wrapped in bubble wrap. Highly recommend this seller and scent!🥰
This is an addictive and indeed, silky, scent. It's difficult for me to isolate any of the listed notes, but it's lightly sweet and smooth, and brings to mind warmed skin. I think strength and lasting power are moderate, probably long-lasting on fabric.
Honestly, it’s OK. It’s not my type of scent that I gravitate toward, but it evokes a calming feeling. If you like not sweet sense more on the side of green I’d say you’ll like this. It just is not my cup of tea.
